Condition:
The pen is in overall very good condition with some expected age related fading to the cap and the uncapped portion of the barrel, there are no cracks or personalization. The slip cap is in good condition with the "matchstick" filler pin on the top being solid, as shown in the photos. The barrel of the pen is the original dark black shade under the the cap, as shown. The only item to note is a chip on the rim of the section. There is some typical hand wear to the pen barrel and on the two imprints, both are readable, THE WRIGHT over THE WRIGHT PEN CO. - ST. LOUIS U.S.A. and THE SIMPLOFILLER over PAT. AUG. 2 ' 04. The pen has been carefully dry cleaned on the cap interior, the nib has been lightly polished and an new ink sac has been installed.
