Sheaffer Balance Lifetime 14k Nib Fountain Pen and Pencil - Black
Condition:             
The pen is in very nice condition with a rich jet black coloring, there are no cracks, the barrel has personalization.  The cap and barrel have some micro surface scratches. The barrel imprint is crisp and readable, as shown.  The clip is firm, the clip, cap band and lever are all in nice condition, as shown. The visulated section has a hint of ambering, as shown.  The pen has been cleaned, a new ink sac has been installed, it has been ink tested and the pen is ready to write.  The pencil is also in nice condition with no cracks and the same the barrel personalization as the pen.  The pencil advances and retracts the lead, it is firm.  There is a worn, vintage eraser, as shown.  The case in in good vintage condition, with some light wear and staining, as pictured.

  • The cap has been brush cleaned
  • The nib and section have been ultrasonically cleaned
  • The ink sac has been replaced
  • The pen has been ink tested
  • This pen is ready for use
  • The pencil has lead and is ready to use

    Nib:

    Fine - classic Sheaffer's Lifetime gold masked nib. The nib is in lovely condition.  It produced a nice fine line during its ink test, it writes like a classic Sheaffer nib.  A photo of the ink test is included for reference.
