Condition:This 1936 Parker Parkette is in very nice condition with the barrel and cap colors being very vibrant. There are no cracks or personalization on this pen. The barrel and cap have some very light surface scratches. The visulated section has some nice transparancy, with some ambering, as shown. The clip is firm, the black cap jewel and barrel jewels are in good condition. The double cap bands are firm and in good condition, with just a hint of wear,as shown. The barrel imprints are clear and readable, the barrel date code of "36". The pen has been throughly cleaned, a new ink sac has been installed, and it has been water tested - this pen is ready for ink.

Medium - The upgraded Weidlich #2 14k gold nib is medium. The nib is in nice condition with clear imprints, ample tipping material and just a hint of wear. The nib provided a nice bit of line variation during an ink test and is, without questions, an upgrade from the typical Parkette nib. A photo of the ink test is included for reference.
