Condition:This first generation Parker 51 aero-metric filler pen is in very nice condition with a nice deep forest green coloring, there are no cracks or personalization. The barrel has some micro surface scratches. The barrel imprint is clear and readable with a barrel date of “8” representing 1948, the first year of this model of the original “Foto-fill Filler” later renamed to the “Aero-metric Filler”. The lustraloy (brushed stainless steel) cap is in nice condition with no dents. The classic chrome arrow clip is firm and in lovely condition. The cap jewel is tight and in good condition, as shown The pen has been throughly cleaned, inspected, it has been water and ink tested. This classic pen fills great and it's ready for ink.
