About & Condition:
This unmarked, chased ebonite eye dropper fountain pen is in excellent overall condition with crisp chasing and a consistent, even black coloring. The pen has no cracks and it has "Epworth Herald" "Chicago" imprinted on the barrel. The Epwoth Herald was published from 1890 - 1940 in Chicago, IL. The "Best" branded cap clip is most likely an aftermarket item. The section smoothly unscrews from the barrel for filing, the section does have a couple of scratches on it. This beautiful c. 1910's - early 20's fountain pen has a light flex 14k Warranted nib.
